We have been burgeoning this Spring and Summer young’uns….in the animal world: our kids were born in late April, our puppies in mid-May, and our baby chicks arrived in early and mid-June. Our two does gave birth to three kids: one white and two black ones; Abby had a litter of 6 puppies; and 72 meat chickens and about 15 laying hens are growing daily and are destined for the freezer or to replace the older ones who have slowed down on their egg production. It’s a happy farm!
